Configuring the help notice for the welcome page
How to configure the help/contact notice for the LiveWhale welcome page.
This setting can be adjusted using the master LiveWhale configuration. (Please see “Configuring LiveWhale” for more information.)
On LiveWhale’s welcome page, a message can be displayed to users directing them to the appropriate help resources for your institution. This might include a help web site link, an e-mail address for an IT help desk service, a link to the LiveWhale support site, and so forth.
Open the master LiveWhale config (/livewhale/core/config.php) using an FTP client or via the command line.
The option related to the help/contact notice is:
- CONTACT
Set this to the message to display on LiveWhale’s welcome page. XHTML markup is supported.
