About the LiveWhale scheduler.
LiveWhale can execute actions asynchronously on a period basis using the built-in scheduler. Modules can install these scheduled actions in the livewhale_scheduler database table, and store a corresponding PHP script inside the “exec” dir.
You are not required to configure or trigger the scheduler manually or by cron. LiveWhale will automatically run it periodically as needed.
