Notes are a means of communication between LiveWhale content editors to facilitate a community-wide focus on web page editing.

While logged into LiveWhale, any content editor can leave a note on any web page of the site. Notes can be assigned one of four types: “Needs attention”, “Great work”, “Outdated”, or “Problem”.

Content editors tasked with the editing of those pages will receive a notification containing the note that was posted, allowing them to take action on any feedback that was offered.

For example, if the content appears to be outdated on a particular page, a content editor can post an “Outdated” message so that those responsible for keeping the information fresh can quickly perform an update to the page content.
