Redirects allow administrators to create alternative urls, vanity urls, or maintain compatibility with old browser bookmarks if a page is relocated.

There are a variety of situations in which you may need a web page url to redirect the user to a different url on your site. This may simply be because an url has changed, and you want users to be able to get to the right place if they continue to try the old url, or because a marketing campaign wishes to advertise a handy short url that will redirect a user to a longer one for the desired content.

By entering your source url (typed by the user) and a destination url (to redirect to), LiveWhale will immediately begin redirecting your site visitors to the right place. Advanced needs can be met by capturing part of the source url and incorporating it into the destination url.
