By default (false), events widgets display the original start date of a multi-day event that is currently in progress. This was the only available behavior in LiveWhale 2.x

Now, in LiveWhale 3.0+, setting show_today_on_ongoing_events to  true will tell the widget to instead display today’s date for any ongoing multi-day event, keeping long-running exhibits and similar events looking current without requiring a repeating daily event series.
